Sissi advises high net-worth individuals and families on estate and trust planning, expatriation/pre-immigration tax planning, US tax compliance and US investment structuring. She also has extensive experience advising multinational companies and funds on real estate, infrastructure, equity and debt investments in the US, with a particular emphasis on international tax structuring, internal restructuring, passive foreign investment companies (PFIC), controlled foreign corporations (CFC), and entity classification election.
Sissi obtained her Master of Business Administration and Juris Doctorate from University of Washington. She obtained her Master of Laws in tax law from New York University School of Law.
Sissi is a US-qualified lawyer and a member of the New York State Bar.
Sissi is fluent in English and Mandarin.

- Advised an Asia-Pacific multinational company, in structuring a hospitality real estate investment trust (REIT) to operate and partially-own a hotel in the US.
- Advised an Asian sovereign wealth fund, in its $1.5 billion investment in the US and other global markets.
- Advised a Thailand listed multinational company, in internal restructuring that involves its US subsidiaries.
- Assisted a Singapore-based family office to structure its US investments as a limited partner in a US fund, and prepared relevant trust and corporate documents.
- Assisted numerous clients and intermediaries with trust documents of foreign grantor trusts.
- Assisted numerous clients with US Streamlined Filing Compliance Procedures.
