About
Oliver is a Senior Associate in the dispute resolution group of Charles Russell Speechlys in Zug and Zürich, specializing in domestic and international commercial litigation and arbitration, asset recovery and criminal law. He is also a Notary Public in our Zug office.
He also advises both individuals and companies on various issues, including commercial, construction and labour law, as well as estate planning and successions. Oliver also regularly assists companies and acts as an external legal counsel on corporate law matters, including M&A, changes in equities, shareholders matters and corporate housekeeping. As an attorney at law and a notary public in Zug, he is able to cover a wide range of tasks, including setting up companies and foundations, share capital increases, liquidations and other corporate matters, as well as setting up last wills and testaments and advance care directives. He also provides other notarial services.
He is a graduate from the Universities of Zürich (Master) and Basel (Bachelor), holds a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Forensics from the Academy of Public Prosecutors (Staatsanwaltsakademie) at the University of Lucerne and holds an LL.M. degree in corporate and commercial law from the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands.
Oliver is a member of the Swiss Bar Association (SAV), the Zurich Bar Association (ZAV) and Zug Bar Association (Advokatenverein des Kantons Zug).
Oliver grew up on various continents and therefore speaks German, English, Spanish and Italian fluently.
Experience
- Oliver represented several international investment funds in multi-million Euro asset recovery, insolvency and criminal proceedings (fraud, forgery, etc.) in Switzerland.
- He has assisted, both as a lawyer and as a notary public, an internationally active commodity trader in various national and international commercial transactions (joint venture, group restructuring, M&A).
- Oliver regularly advises private individuals regarding their estate planning.
