With over 29 years in the construction field, Neil specialises in all areas of both contentious and non-contentious construction and engineering law. Having gained a wealth of practical experience and knowledge in all aspects of construction Neil obtained his Batchelor of Laws Degree in 1999 and qualified for the Bar in 2000. He is currently completing a Master Degree in Construction Contract law and Practice with the University of Salford.; Membership of the CIOB, Interests; Sustainable technologies and there applications in construction.
Experience
- Advising on a wide variety and size of projects both UK and abroad from high security installations and healthcare to multi-residential developments and specialist M&E projects
- Advising clients particularly on project delivery, dispute avoidance and management and NEC3
- Advising and assisting clients in delivery of a multi-million pound high profile, media sensitive projects, developing, implementing and managing robust NEC3 based contractual systems which led directly to successful delivery of the project, exceeding all programme and budget expectations
