Jovanne is experienced in all kinds of property related transactions, including sale and purchase of all kinds of properties in Hong Kong by way of private treaty, public tender or through the sale and acquisition of shares of property holding companies. She has advised clients on land grant and property management issues, application for stamp duty relief and all types of conveyancing matters, leases, tenancies and licences. She is also experienced in conducting due diligence exercise on property ownership and encumbrances prior to corporate listing and restructuring for corporate clients and financial institutions.
In addition, Jovanne also regularly advises individual and families on the drafting of wills and advising on probate and administration matters, including applying for Grants of Personal Representative in Hong Kong courts for local and overseas clients.
Jovanne has been recommended for her expertise in Hong Kong real estate matters by the Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2025. She was named as “Next Generation Lawyer” by Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2018 and 2019. - Acting for major corporate landlords in drawing up their standard form lease documentation, negotiating leases and advising on tenancy related issues in landlords’ and tenants’ perspectives for residential and commercial properties.
