Jessie advises employers on day to day HR matters including: managing disciplinary and grievance procedures; redundancy situations; sickness absence; capability issues; and negotiating exit packages for employees. In addition, her work involves reviewing and drafting employment documentation, such as contracts of employment for junior and senior employees, consultancy agreements and staff handbooks.
Jessie also acts for employees on a wide range of matters. She advises on settlement agreements (the negotiations and severance terms), grievances and supports employees who are responding to disciplinary allegations.
She has experience of employment litigation involving unfair dismissal, breach of contract and discrimination allegations, both for individual claimants and for employers defending claims.
Jessie is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
