James is an Associate in our Family team and advises clients in the event of relationship breakdown, including divorce, dissolution of civil partnerships, unmarried separation and all associated financial matters.

James is an Associate in our Family team and advises clients in the event of relationship breakdown, including divorce, dissolution of civil partnerships, unmarried separation and all associated financial matters. James also advises on private law children matters including day-to-day contact arrangements for children, parental responsibility and relocation. James is also able to advise clients on asset protection agreements, with experience drafting pre and post-nuptial agreements and cohabitation agreements.

James studied Ancient History at the University of Exeter. He completed his Graduate Diploma in Law and MSc Legal Practice Course at the University of Law.

Prior to commencing his training contract, James was a paralegal in our Family team. 

James completed his training contract at the Firm having undertaken seats in Private Property, Family, Employment and Commercial Dispute Resolution. He qualified as a solicitor in August 2024 and is admitted to practice in England and Wales.
