About

James is a Partner in the Corporate team advising both private and public companies. He has extensive experience advising founder-led, private equity-backed and sovereign wealth fund- backed businesses.

James co-leads the Investors and Entrepreneurs group at the firm and advises on corporate finance matters, M&A, equity fundraisings, joint ventures and corporate governance.

A fluent Spanish speaker, James is a member of the firm’s Spanish and Latin America Focus Groups and works with clients and other advisers in those countries/ region.

Experience

  • Acted for senior management of Altadia Group on the English law aspects of the sale of Altadia by Lone Star Funds to Carlyle. Based in Spain, Altadia is the largest global manufacturer of intermediate products for the production of ceramic tiles.
