Emily Campbell

Senior Counsel

Emily is a barrister. Her practice covers both the advisory and litigation sides of trusts, tax, estates and pensions.

About

Called to the Bar in 1995, she spent most of her career at a leading Chancery Chambers before moving to the firm in 2023. She has substantial experience in drafting trust documentation and the analysis of complex or abstract structures, together with trust litigation and associated professional negligence claims. Alongside her private client practice, she advises on many aspects of personal and occupational pension schemes, including pensions tax and schemes with a foreign element. She is a co-founder and commissioning editor of the knowledge website, pensionsbarrister.com.

She is a member of the Chancery Bar Association, STEP and the Association of Pensions Lawyers. She is the author of numerous articles and is a contributor to several works, including writing the book Changing the Terms of Trusts (Butterworths, 2002).

Emily is admitted to practise as a barrister in England and Wales.
