Charles Russell Speechlys grows its rankings in The Legal 500 EMEA directory

Charles Russell Speechlys has gained five new rankings across Europe, Middle East and Africa in the 2024 edition of The Legal 500 EMEA guide, solidifying its position as a “Top-Tier Firm” in three key practice areas and receiving recommendations in 15 others. 

A total of 38 lawyers have been individually mentioned for their outstanding contributions and legal experience in their respective fields, including five lawyers recognised as “Leading Individuals”, three listed as “Next Generation Partners”, and two as “Rising Stars.” 

The recognition reflects a year of significant growth for the Firm across its international offices. 

Europe

In Europe, our performance has also been lauded in The Legal 500 EMEA 2024 guide. 

For the first time the Firm has been marked as a ‘Firm to Watch’ for Litigation in France, while also maintaining its strong ranking in Employment for the fourth year running.

In Switzerland, our Sports team made its debut in the directory and we received praise for maintaining our rankings in both Private Clients and Dispute Resolution

Middle East

In the Middle East, the Firm’s core practices in Bahrain (Dispute Resolution, Real Estate and Construction and Commercial, Corporate & M&A) continue have been ranked in Tier 1 for the fifth consecutive year. 

In Dubai, the team maintained its UAE rankings across Real Estate, IP, TMT and Dispute Resolution. It has been ranked for the first time in Compliance and investigations, and received improved rankings for Commercial, Corporate and M&A, and Arbitration and International Litigation.

The Qatar team also maintained its ranking in Projects, Real Estate and Construction with market insight.
