Charles Russell Speechlys continues to grow its Financial Services Regulation & Funds offering with the appointment of Jeremy Bell

Charles Russell Speechlys today announces that Jeremy Bell has joined the Firm as a Senior Consultant in the Financial Services Regulation & Funds group. Jeremy was previously Head of the Private Investment Funds group at Burges Salmon and, prior to that, spent 24 years at Ashurst.

Jeremy focuses primarily on private funds, particularly the structuring and formation of private investment funds across alternative asset classes, including carried interest arrangements and establishing fund management structures.

He will focus on using his profile and network to continue to build out the Firm’s profile in the private funds space.

William Garner, Partner and Head of Financial Services Regulation & Funds, comments:

Jeremy has a wealth of experience in this world. His appointment adds significant firepower to our practice and the funds-related services we can offer, and ensures we are able to meet increasing client demand. It is great to have him on board and we look forward to collaborating with him to grow the practice.

Jeremy Bell, Senior Consultant, adds:

I am very pleased to have joined Charles Russell Speechlys. I have spent nearly thirty years in private practice handling funds work, and it has been clear from the outset that my experience is a good fit for the requirements of the Firm as it looks for new opportunities. Initially, I will be focused on a small number of key clients and assisting with overall growth plans for the practice.
