Charles Russell Speechlys advises Vitro on a major international restructuring project

We are delighted to have worked with leading glass producer, Vitro, on a major international restructuring project to transfer their entire automotive business and the majority of the architectural and packaging businesses to their new holding company in Luxembourg.

Over the last year, David Cordova Flores has led a team of tax, corporate, banking and finance lawyers in our Luxembourg office on a complex restructuring which now means easier access to international investors and better financing conditions for the group, supporting Vitro in its international growth ambitions.

David Cordova Flores, Partner, comments:

We were delighted to assist Vitro in this major project.  This demonstrates our Luxembourg’s team strength in addressing complex cross-border restructuring matters, as well as the firm’s adept cross-practice collaboration.

The team was led by Corporate Tax Partner, David Cordova Flores, and comprised of Partner Jean-Baptiste Beauvoir-Planson, and Associates, Imran Moutaabbid, Jesus Sanchez Garcia, Estelle Jeanvoine, Laure Cousin, and Pierre-Philip Leroux-Moga.
