Charles Russell Speechlys Welcomes New Director of Innovation

Charles Russell Speechlys, an international law firm focusing on private capital, is pleased to welcome Joe Cohen as its new Director of Innovation. With an impressive background in digital innovation, Joe brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our Firm's commitment to embracing digitally enabled innovation and advancing the practice of law.

In this new role, Joe will spearhead our Firm's innovation initiatives and drive forward-thinking strategies to enhance client service and streamline internal operations. His extensive experience in navigating the intersection of law and technology will be instrumental in developing and implementing innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of our clients in a rapidly changing legal landscape.

Throughout his career, Joe has demonstrated a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities presented by advancements in technology. Joe has successfully led numerous projects and initiatives to improve legal processes, leverage data analytics, and implement new technologies to drive efficiency and deliver superior client outcomes.

Joe joins the Firm on 11 December 2023 and his appointment follows the arrival of Marcus Yorke Long, Head of the newly formed Private Office, in June 2023. The Charles Russell Speechlys Private Office is another innovative initiative launched by the Firm, whereby the Firm is enhancing its client offering with a new pioneering initiative to cater for the changing demands of global private capital clients, entrepreneurs, families, and their businesses.
