Charles Russell Speechlys advises Nortal on its acquisition of Questers

Charles Russell Speechlys has advised Nortal, the multinational strategic change and technology company, on its acquisition of Questers, which will now merge with Nortal’s daughter company pwrteams.

This strategic acquisition will strengthen pwrteams’ footprint, access to talent and ability to build cross-border IT and engineering teams for customers globally. Questers, founded in 2007 is one of the leading international software development companies that design, build and manage dedicated teams over a diverse set of technologies in various industries.

Martin Aas, Group Head of Legal for Nortal, commented:

“This acquisition will bolster our pwrteams business and help build our market presence in the US and UK. Hamish and the team’s insights and support on this transaction were very valuable and ensured its seamless completion.”

Hamish Perry, Corporate Partner, commented:

“We were delighted to work with Martin and the team on this exciting transaction, which was in the sweet spot of our technology sector expertise. We look forward to following pwrteams’ journey as it continues to grow.”

The team was led by Corporate Partner Hamish Perry and Mike Barrington (Senior Associate), with support from Nia John (Associate), and the law firm Konečná & Zacha (in respect of Bulgarian elements of the acquisition). The wider team included Caroline Young and Anna Sowerby (Commercial), Rob Birchall and Arjun Thakrar (Tax), and Syma Spanjers and Briony Richards (Employment).
