Charles Russell Speechlys’ UK offices receive environmental certification

Charles Russell Speechlys announces that environmental management systems (EMS) in all three of its UK offices (London, Guildford and Cheltenham) have been certified by the British Standards Institute (BSI) as meeting the ISO14001 standard.

ISO14001 is an internationally recognised benchmark for robust EMS that ensures sustainability is mainstreamed into business operations and provides management teams with effective tools to measure, monitor and reduce carbon emissions.

The BSI noted that Charles Russell Speechlys’ EMS had been “well implemented” and that “operational controls over the firm’s [carbon] emissions were well maintained”.

Kerry Stares, Partner & Director of Responsible Business, says:

This latest certification is a demonstration of our Firm’s commitment to environmental responsibility. A robust environmental management system and high quality tools for emissions measurement and monitoring will be critical to our success as we work to meet our emissions reduction targets on a pathway to net zero by 2030. We are delighted to receive the endorsement of ISO14001 certification and recognise the hard work our Internal Client Services team has put in across our UK offices to secure it.
