Charles Russell Speechlys Luxembourg strengthens tax practice with the recruitment of David Cordova Flores

Charles Russell Speechlys today announces the appointment of David Cordova Flores as Tax Partner in the Luxembourg office. His arrival allows Charles Russell Speechlys Luxembourg to reinforce its tax team, and to expand its services in tax advisory.

David has over two decades of experience guiding clients through complex international tax planning and structuring matters. His practice focuses mainly on the assistance of clients from Spain and LatAm using Luxembourg as a gateway to structure their investments globally.

He is originally from Mexico and a registered public tax accountant and will be instrumental in driving forward and expanding the Firm's Latin American practice. David is also a lecturer at the Maastricht University and Guadalajara CPA Association (Mexico) on international tax.

Over the last few years, Charles Russell Speechlys has established itself as a strong player in private capital, continuing to develop and expand in the world’s key global wealth management centres – including London, Luxembourg, Dubai, Zurich and Singapore.

Yacine Diallo, Partner and Head of the Firm’s Luxembourg office, says:

We are delighted and proud to welcome David as Tax Partner to our Luxembourg tax team. There are some very natural synergies between David and our Firm.

David’s technical profile and experience is a great complement to our tax practice and will allow us to actively develop the Spanish and LatAm markets. He has a well-developed client base across Latin America and will therefore be instrumental in expanding our LatAm practice and it is great to have him on board.

David Cordova Flores, Tax Partner, says:

I am thrilled to join the dynamic and welcoming Luxembourg team. I am excited to build on the great work that the team has achieved within the world of private capital. With strong collaboration with teams located across many of the world's key wealth management centres, I am confident than I can bring my expertise to help grow the LatAm practice of our Firm.

David’s appointment closely follows the arrival of International Partners: Tom Snider in Dubai as Head of International Arbitration, and Simon Le Wita, Litigation and Dispute Resolution in Paris.
