Charles Russell Speechlys advises Puma Private Equity on its £3.5 million investment into TravelLocal

Charles Russell Speechlys has advised long standing client Puma Private Equity on its £3.5m investment into TravelLocal Limited, a leading online platform for tailor-made holidays that connects clients directly with local experts in their destination.

This was part of a wider £8.3m raise alongside Active Partners and Gresham House, who had previously invested in TravelLocal.

It aims to deliver insight, expertise and a fresh perspective to the portfolio companies it partners with. Having invested in, and worked with, a breadth of companies in a range of sectors from consumer e-commerce to fleet transport safety and influencer marketing, Puma Private Equity has deep insights and experience in scaling businesses for growth and where desired, successful sale and exit.

Mark Lyons, Investment Director, commented:

“Thank you to David, Ashwin, Ayman and the wider team for their support on this transaction. Charles Russell Speechlys always delivers first class levels of service, and their support was vital to getting this deal over the line.”

David Coates, Corporate Partner, commented:

“As always, it was a delight working with Puma Private Equity. We look forward to seeing how their capital helps grow TravelLocal in the tailor-made travel industry.”
