Charles Russell Speechlys achieves record success in The Legal 500 2023 EMEA directory

Charles Russell Speechlys continues to improve its quality rankings across Europe, Middle East and Africa in the 2023 edition of The Legal 500 EMEA guide.

The guide ranks Charles Russell Speechlys as a top-tier Firm in three practice areas and as recommended in 11 other practice areas. Five lawyers are listed in the elite “Leading lawyers” group, two lawyers are listed in the “Next generation lawyers” group and three lawyers are listed in the “Rising stars” group. A total of 30 lawyers are mentioned by name in Legal 500 EMEA commentary for their standout contribution to their respective practices.

Middle East

The Middle East offices’ excellent market reputation and strong regional growth has been widely reflected in the latest The Legal 500 EMEA 2023 directory.

The Firm’s core practices in Bahrain (Dispute Resolution, Real Estate & Construction and Commercial, Corporate & M&A) continue to be recognised as market-leading and all have been ranked in Tier 1 for the fourth year running. Charles Russell Speechlys is the only law firm in Bahrain to have this status.

In Dubai, the team maintained its UAE rankings across Real Estate, IP, TMT and Dispute Resolution. For the first time the Firm has been marked as a ‘Firm to Watch’ for Commercial, Corporate and M&A (UAE).

The Qatar team also maintained its ranking in Projects, Real Estate and Construction with market insight emphasising that the Firm has been ‘at the forefront of some of the landmark projects to occur in Qatar’.

Europe

The Firm’s Europe offering is also highly commended in The Legal 500 EMEA 2023 guide.

In Luxembourg, the Banking and Finance team were listed in the directory for the first time and the team maintained its Tax and Commercial, Corporate & M&A rankings.
