Piers Master and Nicola Saccardo named in eprivateclient’s 50 Most Influential 2023

Charles Russell Speechlys is delighted to announce the listing of two senior partners within the prestigious eprivateclient 50 Most Influential rankings, demonstrating the exceptional and unique talent within the Firm’s Private Client practice. The rankings recognise the key players in the UK and offshore private client practitioner sector, highlighting the depth of talent and breadth of skilled and professional advice available to clients across the world. The 50 individuals listed were chosen by a panel of PAM Insight judges after a rigorous selection process assessing their professional achievements and leading industry reputation over the past 12 months.

Piers Master, Head of Private Wealth, acts for some of Charles Russell Speechlys' largest and most complex private clients and has a leading reputation for his work with Middle Eastern families where he acts for many ruling family members and billionaires – many of whom have links to the US. In addition, he acts for a significant number of ultra-high-net-worth UK based clients including successful entrepreneurs and owners of large landed estates.

Nicola Saccardo, Partner, joined Charles Russell Speechlys in August 2022 and is renowned as one of the top Italian tax specialists in the world of Private Wealth. Much of Nicola’s work is centred around the relocation of ultra-high-net-worth individuals to Italy and the taxation of trusts and estate tax planning. The addition of this Italian tax offering has significantly bolstered Charles Russell Speechlys’ portfolio of tax services as the Firm continues to expand its international private capital focus and support global families looking to relocate to Italy and internationally.

Piers Master comments:

"I am delighted to have been listed in eprivateclient's 50 Most Influential for the third consecutive year, alongside leading figures from across the world of private wealth. This recognition demonstrates the outstanding reputation of the team as a whole and the excellent work that’s been carried out over the last year to help our clients navigate the uncertainties of the current environment”.

Nicola Saccardo adds:

“I am really pleased to have been recognised by eprivateclient as a leading individual within the private client industry and to have been listed amongst so many fantastic individuals. Having recently joined Charles Russell Speechlys, it’s a privilege to be working at a Firm with such an outstanding reputation for private wealth, within a team of exceptionally talented lawyers and with such an international reach. Most of my work is centred around the relocation of high-net-worth individuals, the taxation of trusts and estate tax planning, and is international in nature, so Charles Russell Speechlys was a natural fit.”
