Charles Russell Speechlys makes two senior appointments

Charles Russell Speechlys is pleased to announce the election of Bart Peerless as the Firm’s next Senior Partner effective from May 2021, and the appointment of Lord Andrew Hay as a Non-Executive Director, effective today.

Bart Peerless

Bart Peerless joined the Firm in 1997. As a leading private client specialist, he advises individuals, family offices, trustees and beneficiaries, based in both the UK and abroad, in relation to succession and estate planning. Bart has led the Firm’s Private Client Division since 2014.

Bart will work closely with the current Senior Partner, Christopher Page, in the coming months to ensure a smooth transition.

Bart will begin his four-year term in May 2021, taking over from Christopher Page, who has been Senior Partner for the past eight years.

Lord Andrew Hay

Andrew Hay will join the Firm’s Advisory Council. Previously Global Head of Residential at Knight Frank, he was responsible for the UK and global residential agency’s UHNW strategy, across 60 countries, and has 37 years’ experience of the super-prime market.
