About Food4Heroes
Amanda Guest, a chef and catering company owner in Yorkshire, and her brother John Brownhill began feeding NHS workers for free in a hospital car park in Yorkshire just a few weeks ago. Since then, they have recruited chefs and caterers to expand the model to feed thousands of frontline NHS workers nationwide. Watch a short video about their story and the impact Food4Heroes is having here:
John Brownhill commented: "We asked Charles Russell Speechlys for help with our governance model and have been overwhelmed by the level of pro bono support and expertise provided to us on a number of key legal issues. This generosity has enabled the management team to focus on delivering more healthy and nutritious meals to the NHS in the knowledge that we have a strong team supporting us behind the scenes."
Kerry Stares, Pro Bono Legal Director at Charles Russell Speechlys said: "Food4Heroes is an important new client for the firm. We support a wide range of small charities and social enterprises though our pro bono practice and in these challenging times it is more important than ever for us to channel that support to organisations on the frontlines providing essential services. What Food4Heroes has achieved in recent weeks is incredibly impressive and we are delighted to be able to give them a helping hand."
