"Game changing" for the beautiful game

Being passionate about improving and changing our diversity, equality and inclusion in the world we live in, and also being a key member of Charles Russell Speechlys games and e-sports sector team, I was delighted to hear about Alex Scott is set to make history and will be FIFA's the first English-speaking female commentator for FIFA 2022, EA Sports' 30th edition of the game.  Alex commented on Twitter that "representation is crucial and the inclusion of an English-speaking female commentator on FIFA is game-changing".

Alex is an ex-Arsenal player and is hailed as "one of the biggest voices in women's football in the UK at the moment".  It is a huge step towards improving representation and will I hope be an encouragement for many young female football fans and gamers alike.  It is one step closer to a day when I hope we talk about talent women like Alex as "one of the biggest voices in football in general", not just "women's football".

The ex-Arsenal player, who is one of the biggest voices in women's football in the UK at the moment, will feature as an English-speaking commentator in the game which is due to be released later this year.
