I quickly realised during the interview and onboarding experience that as an employee at the Firm, you are encouraged to get stuck in and collaborate with your colleagues. This is illustrated by the buddy system in place, helping you settle in very quickly in your first couple of months.

I was lucky enough to join during a month where a number of events were held including Christmas parties which provided wonderful opportunities to meet colleagues, not just across the office, but across the Firm including colleagues working at our international offices. 

If you are joining the Firm, my advice would be to try and meet as many people as you can across the office and teams within your first few months of joining. This will be invaluable as it will help you build your internal network right from the get-go.
