Jack Chovet, Paralegal, Private Client

When I joined Charles Russell Speechlys as a Client Services Administrator (CSA), I was quickly drawn into assisting the wider team with a variety of administrative tasks. It taught me many new skills and helped me refine some existing ones, particularly balancing multiple ongoing tasks and working within a larger team in order to ensure something is completed in a quick and efficient manner. 

Coordinating with other CSA’s to help each other’s teams during moments of high work volume led me to work further with the Private Client team, which eventually led to my application to the position of paralegal. The skills I acquired in the multitude of tasks made the transition much smoother, and allowed me to go for a position I had not previously considered. I have since been thriving in my new role and hope to continue learning new skills.
