    Meet our people

Christopher Hadnutt, Associate, Construction, Engineering and Projects

Despite the Firm's client-focused culture, it successfully maintains a balance by also prioritising the well-being and happiness of its staff.

As a result, all the teams I have worked in are friendly, collegiate environments where people are genuinely interested in each other, in making sure that everyone is supported, and that no one is finding their workload detrimental to their wellbeing.

Typical of this, I recently took a period of six months’ shared parental leave, which fell at a time when our team was very busy and could really have used the extra pair of hands. Despite that, I was under no pressure whatsoever to alter my plans, bring forward my return date, or even to use any keeping in touch days that I did not want to. You would of course expect a law firm not to discourage its staff from exercising a statutory right, but what I think sets the culture here apart from other law firms is that no one here would have wanted to suggest those things to me even if they were legal! There is a genuine concern for the happiness and satisfaction of its staff.
